Fewer Blacks, Hispanics Go Jobless Under Trump

by Fred Lucas, The Daily Signal

More black and Hispanic Americans are getting jobs on President Donald Trump’s watch, the latest employment numbers show, although critics accuse him of ignoring such minority populations.

The White House, not surprisingly, is happy to tout the results.

Unemployment among blacks declined from 8 percent one year ago to 7.3 percent in November, according to the Bureau of Labor Statistics. Blacks’ labor force participation rate rose slightly over the past year, from 61.9 percent in November 2016 to 62.2 percent last month.

Unemployment among Hispanics fell by a percentage point, from 5.7 percent to 4.7 percent, over the year. Hispanics’ labor force participation rate held steady, dipping from 65.7 percent to 65.6 percent.

The labor force participation rate reflects the percentage of Americans working or actively looking for work, while the unemployment rate is the percentage of jobless Americans still looking for work, as opposed to having given up.

“All Americans continue to see results from the president’s bold economic agenda,” White House spokeswoman Lindsay Walters told The Daily Signal in a written statement, adding:

While overall unemployment in November remained at a nearly 17-year low, the rate is also at historic lows among several groups, including Hispanics—where it is the lowest in at least 44 years—and African-Americans—where it is at its lowest levels since 2000.

The overall unemployment rate fell to 4.1 percent, a 17-year low. It was 3.6 percent among whites and 3 percent among Asians, about the same for both as a year ago.

Teen unemployment, measured from ages 16 to 19, was the dark lining. Though it dropped nominally from November 2016, from 26.6 to 25.5 percent, that’s up from 23.3 in July.

Limiting taxes and curbing unnecessary government regulation makes it easier for workers and entrepreneurs to succeed, said Daniel Garza, president of the Libre Initiative, a conservative Hispanic group.

“The Hispanic community is beginning to see the benefits of an improving economy. Lawmakers in Washington have a critical opportunity to deliver on tax reform that lowers rates, closes loopholes, and enhances competitiveness—which families and entrepreneurs are counting on,” Garza told The Daily Signal in an email statement, adding:

By locking these reforms in place for the long term, Congress and the president will help to ensure a stable environment that encourages greater economic opportunity and wage growth. Reducing the tax rate on American businesses to 20 percent—without creating new tax burdens—will be particularly helpful in ensuring the U.S. economy is competitive with those of our major trading partners, boosting the prospects of American workers and families. Hispanic families stand to gain a great deal if lawmakers deliver on these promises in the days ahead.

The economy has surpassed 3 percent growth for several months.

When President Barack Obama was in the White House, critics of candidate Trump said 3 percent growth would be impossible, noted Stephen Moore, an economist who is a distinguished visiting fellow at The Heritage Foundation.

“The left’s problem is that they said there is no way to grow the economy at 3 percent, and now they say it’s because of Obama,” Moore, who advised the Trump campaign on economics, told The Daily Signal. “Every economic indicator, with no exceptions, shows we are looking at forward growth. It’s very positive, and a dramatic improvement.”

University now using Care Bears to help students who feel “grumpy or stressed”

by Alex, The Red Pill Times

A dorm for honors students at the University of Massachusetts-Amherst put up a display featuring Care Bears characters in an effort to offer advice for “grumpy or stressed” students.

The display advises students to “Make time for FUN!” and to remember that “laughter is the best medicine.”

Via Campus Reform

A dorm display at the University of Massachusetts-Amherst is using Care Bears to help students who feel “grumpy or stressed.”

“Feeling grumpy or stressed? Let the Care Bears help!” the display states above a large, hand-drawn rainbow adorned with bit of advice for students.

“It’s important to take care of ourselves! Self-care is an active choice and you should treat it as such,” one section proclaims, while other suggest that students “surround yourselves with supportive people” and “reminders of what you love.”

The display also suggests goofing around with friends, making time for fun, eating healthy, and getting enough sleep.

According to Bradley Polumbo, a sophomore at UMass-Amherst, the display was posted in Birch Hall, the dorm for students in the Honors College.

“Frankly, I just think it’s ridiculous,” Polumbo told Campus Reform. “The people that live in this dorm are either 20 or 21 years old. We could be overseas fighting in wars right now, or working full time with kids at home to feed.”

“But the school thinks we need Care Bears to remind us that we’re supposed to eat healthy and sleep and night?” Polumbo said, questioning the display. “If you don’t know that by age 20 you have bigger problems, and probably shouldn’t be pursuing a degree until you get those sorted out.”

WE CALLED IT! Gloria Allred Accuser **ADMITS** She Tampered With Roy Moore’s Yearbook ‘Signature’ (VIDEO)

by Joshua Caplan, The Gateway Pundit

In a last ditch effort to take down Republican Alabama Senate candidate Judge Roy Moore, the mainstream media wheeled out discredited Gloria Allred accuser Beverly Young Nelson.

Big mistake. Nelson admitted on ABC’s “Good Morning America,” that she added “notes,” to what she claims is Moore’s signature inside her yearbook.

GMA : “Nelson says she did make notes to [Moore’s] inscription, but the message was all Roy Moore.”

ABC HOST: “Beverly, he did sign your yearbook.”

NELSON: “He did sign it.”

ABC HOST: “And you made some notes underneath?”

NELSON: “Yes.”

As The Gateway Pundit’s Jim Hoft reported, there are growing calls that Gloria Allred and Beverly Nelson should be charged with fraud.

And in case you missed it… The Gateway Pundit has previously posted on the several discrepancies with Beverly Nelson’s press conference.

Following The Gateway Pundit’s viral story on Judge Roy Moore’s alleged signature inside accuser Beverly Young Nelson’s yearbook, more evidence suggested it was a forgery.

CNN published photos of the signature showing two different inks.

The signature says “To a sweeter more beautiful girl I could not say, ‘Merry Christmas.’ Love, Roy Moore DA, 12-22-77, Olde Hickory House.”

Strangely, “To a sweeter more beautiful girl I could not say, ‘Merry Christmas.’ Love, Roy,” is written in black ink, while “Moore DA, 12-22-77, Olde Hickory House,” is in blue ink.

Nelson admitting that she added to Moore’s alleged signature is the final nail in the coffin. Allred’s accuser is nothing but a fame-seeking fraud.

Sen. Al Franken Resigns in Wake of Sexual Miscount Accusations

by Henry Rodgers, The Daily Signal

WASHINGTON—Sen. Al Franken, D-Minn., officially resigned in a speech on the Senate floor Thursday amid multiple allegations of sexual misconduct.

Franken’s resignation comes the day after several dozen of his Democratic colleagues called for the Minnesota Democratic to step aside. Before announcing his resignation, Franken called himself a “champion of woman.”

“Serving in the United States Senate has been a great honor of my life … Today I am announcing that in the coming weeks, I will be resigning as a member of the United States Senate,” Franken said.

“I was shocked. I was upset. But in responding to their claims, I wanted to be respectful of that broader conversation because all women deserve to be heard and their experience taken seriously,” the Franken said in his speech. “I’m giving up my seat, but I’m not giving up my voice.”

News anchor Leeann Tweeden first accused Franken in late November of forcibly kissing her and groping her on a USO tour in 2006. Franken apologized for his behavior, but continued to face allegations from a number of other women, who say he sexually mistreated them while serving in the U.S. Senate. Seven women now have accused Franken of sexual misconduct.

Minnesota’s female Democratic lieutenant governor, Tina Smith, will reportedly replace Franken to prevent a special election that would give Republicans an opportunity to run for Franken’s now vacant seat.

“Even on the worst day of my political life, it’s all been worth it,” Franken said. “I’m giving up my seat, but I’m not giving up my voice.”

Deadline looming, still no GOP challenger for Dist 41

December 11th is fast approaching, and the Republican Party has yet to field a candidate to challenge Robert “Bobby” Guerra for his Texas House of Representatives District 41 seat. Guerra, the incumbent, has irked out two victories against GOP opponents, one in 2014, the other in 2016.

Many political observers have determined that District 41 to be one of the most competitive offices for Republicans in the otherwise dominant Democratic Rio Grande Valley.  Continue reading “Deadline looming, still no GOP challenger for Dist 41”

NFL HELL: Thousands of Empty Seats Plague Redskins vs. Cowboys Kickoff (PHOTOS)

, The Gateway Pundit

Attendance issues continue to plague the NFL as the kneeling backlash rolls into week 13. Thursday night’s match up between the Washington Redskins vs. Dallas Cowboys Game in AT&T Stadium is no different.

The game started off at 7:30 PM in Arlington and thousands of seats were still available well into the first quarter.

“To be fair, Thursday games are always a little tricky with crowds. While not as bad as they are on the West Coast (where the start time is 5:25), it’s certainly possible that a crowd for a mid week game with a 7:25 local start will be late arriving,” wrote Yardbarker’s Michael Dixon.

Dixon then conceded the empty seats are “certainly not a picture that anyone in the NFL wants to see.”

SICK! YouTube Search Autocompletes “How To Have S*x With Your Kids”

by Joshua Caplan, The Gateway Pundit

Screenshots showing YouTube autocomplete the search “How to have s*x with your kids,” has been making the rounds on 4chan and Reddit. Independent journalist Mike Cernovich tweeted a screenshot of the autocorrect Sunday, asking YouTube for a comment.

BuzzFeed reporter Charlie Warzel tried the search himself and found that indeed the search is genuine.

“Hi @TeamYouTube: Why does “How to have…” auto fill into pedophile content? Multiple people reported this to me,” asked Cernovich.

“Seeing this sceenshot float around so I just did it myself in incognito mode. This i a VERY troubling YouTube search autocomplete, no?,” tweeted BuzzFeed reporter Charlie Warzel.

The search does not yield any videos instructing parents on how to have sex with their kids.

“should note that if you click any of those you do not get any pedophile vids (that i could see but still…what’s going on?,” added Warzel.

The BuzzFeed reporter has reached out to YouTube for comment.

Others tweeted screenshots showing the same autocompleted search.

Later on, Warzel suggested the autocomplete search could be a “trolling campaign.”

“YouTube has yet to respond but important to note that it could (maybe?) also be the work of a coordinated trolling campaign to make YouTube look even worse after a week of being linked to child exploitation content.”

The Gateway Pundit will update its story with YouTube’s response.

Media tries to deflect Al Franken sexual harassment by blaming Trump

Rio Grande Valley – Liberals received their marching orders and the orders are to deflect to Trump in handling Senator Al Franken’s sexual harassment scandal.  Franken has been accused of sexual misconduct when a long held photograph of him reaching out to seemingly grasp the breast of sleeping journalist Leeann Tweeden.

The photo was taken while both Franken and Tweeden were attending a 2006 USO Tour.

Liberals, rather than address the situation at hand, opted to compare the sexual advance to that of Judge Roy Moore and his sexual misconduct allegations. Moore is currently seeking a highly coveted U.S. Senate seat in Alabama.

President Donald Trump’s tweet regarding Franken’s conduct sent the liberal press into over-drive, with the press criticizing Trump’s response to Franken in comparison to his handling of Moore’s allegations.

Local film challenging man-made climate change causes local snowflakes to melt

McAllen – A locally produced film challenging man-made climate change is scheduled to be screened today at McAllen’s Cinemark Hollywood USA theater. The film titled “The Hoax: A Documentary on the Man-Made Myth on Global Warming” was developed by Dr. Lawrence Gelman, a local anesthesiologist and former administrator of Doctors Hospital at Renaissance.  Though the plot of the film is quite clear, the points addressed are expected to be based on Gelman’s conclusions on man-made C02 emissions, and the effects or lack thereof it has on climate change.
